The rental depots in Reykjavik is open 24 hours a day. However, this is by appointment only.
Pick Up or Drop Off is between 08:00 - 18:00
Please Note: We charge an additional 149 € if pick-up or drop-off is between 18:00 - 08:00
Please note: the depot will be open only for the summer season 01.05-30.09.
Airport Transfer
Touring Cars provide free transfer to and from Reykjavik, Reykjanesbaer and Keflavik International Airport. Please make a request for airport transfer and give us your flight details during the booking confirmation process (or email those to us after receiving your final booking confirmation once you have flights booked). If you request an airport transfer for pick-up, you will be picked up from the airport arrivals hall and driven to the Touring Cars rental station for vehicle pick up and processing. We do not meet you with your Motorhome at the airport in Reykjavik, Reykjanesbaer and Keflavik International Airport
Keflavik and Reykjanesbaer City Transfer
Touring Cars provide transfer to and from Keflavik and Reykjanesbaer City Downtown locations. Please make a request for a city transfer during the booking confirmation process.
Vehicle Return
Rental vehicles must be returned to our rental station. If you have booked an airport transfer for drop-off, we will drive you to the airport after your rental vehicle has been cleared. Airport transfers are confirmed 30-60 minutes after arrival time and drop-off time is confirmed minimum 3 hours before departure time.
Airport Area Hotel Transfer
Touring Cars provide free transfer from/to Reykjavik Airport area hotel. Please make a request for airport hotel transfer and give us your accommodation details during the booking confirmation process (or email those to us after receiving your final booking confirmation once you have accommodation booked). If you order a Airport hotel transfer for pick-up, you will be driven to the rental station where pick-up procedures will be performed by our staff. Similarly, if you book a hotel transfer for drop-off, you have to bring the vehicle back to our rental station first. After the rental vehicle has been cleared, you are driven back to your Airport area hotel.
Reykjavik City Transfer
Touring Cars provide transfer from/to Reykjavik City Downtown locations. But this service is not complimentary and instead comes at an additional service fee of €139 each way. Please select Reykjavik City transfer in the optional extras list on first booking page, if you wish to be picked up/ dropped off from Reykjavik City locations. Make sure to contact Touring Cars to discuss exact pick up hotel and pick up / drop off times after you have received your final booking confirmation.
